Job Description
Lead role in managing the PSCM system strategy in alignment with SPU and Global PSCM Functional and Technical strategies. Manage the implementation of standard software applications to enable PSCM related processes. Ensure alignment of system implementation requirements with business needs of the organization. Manage the functional configuration and maintenance of PSCM locally implemented systems. Focus on continuous improvement, collaboration, and client support.
Demonstrates expert understanding of the software product and its configuration within BP. Responsible for level of service, coaching and guidance for the system specialists at site locations understanding requirements and organizational capabilities across all sectors. Represents the PSCM application in assessing access control requests and 3rd Parties, linkages to other supplier systems (such as through supplier enablement or hub connectivity) or new domain software products or upgrades. This leader must possess the ability to articulate a strategic vision which can be translated into action at RU level.
- Bachelors Degree in a business or technical discipline
- At least 10 years experience in either a Systems-related or PSCM-related role, with sufficient experience to demonstrate a thorough understanding of supply chain processes and systems- At least 2 years recent experience in a Leadership role in Supply Chain/ERP implementations, with specific experience as the Supply Chain liaison, assuring that supply chain requirements are delivered by the systems solution- At least 2 years experience in procure-to-pay system implementation and/or support
