The Project Manager provides support of the day-to-day operations of the Project Management Office. Works on a team to provide 7x24 coverage of all project management activities across all of the business units of HCR Manor Care. These activities include project analysis, proposal development, planning, scheduling, issue management, change management, resource management, risk management, cost management, and status reporting. Utilizes tools provided to develop comprehensive project plans, proactively define and resolve issues that impede progress on projects, and effectively communicate project status. Works with other groups in the IS Department in order to provide support of the day-to-day operations and new project initiatives. Assists with any additional projects as defined by supervisor. Insures that all project initiatives are conducted in accordance with the expectations of the CFO, COO, Vice Presidents, Directors and Managers of all HCR business units. Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree with two years of professional experience required or Associates degree with four to six years of professional experience or six to eight years of professional experience. Professional certification preferred.
