Job Description

FCC Environmental is seeking a� Class A CDL Driver for the� Little Rock, AR� � area.� This position will perform a broad range of manual tasks to safely drive and operate a vacuum truck.� This includes but is not limited to� transportion of� liquid waste material in accordance with EPA guidelines and DOT laws.� This position works with established SOP�� s (Standard Operating Procedures) with specific safety and environmental policies as stated by the Field Service Supervisor, Plant Manager, EH&S and Branch Manager.

� Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


-Deliver excellent customer SERVICE to internal and external customers consistent with FCC�� s Commitments:� Selfless, Ethical, Respectful, Versatile, Innovative, Communication and Encouraging
-Performs manual labor to unload and load vehicle tanks, transferring material into holding tanks or on site, sump, trench, pit cleaning.
-Sample, gauge and offload incoming product streams
-Maintain process equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs with the Supervisor
-May transfer material via pipeline or hose/pump
-Complete paperwork for safe and legal transportation
-Understand and comply with RCRA requirements for storage of waste in accumulation areas of the facility
-Obtain and maintain a Class A CDL with HAZ-MAT and Tanker Endorsement, as applicable
-Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
Education/Experience/Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.� Requires valid Class A� CDL with applicable endorsements and a good driving record, knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrated ability to operate CMV Equipment and to meet DOT required physical & drug screen.� A minimum of two years experience.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:


-Ability to read and understand established procedures, including the Waste Analysis Plan and RCRA requirements
-� Ability to read and write handwritten and typed correspondence


-Able to work independently and as part of a team
-Effective communication, both oral & written

Physical Demands:

The physical demands below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.


-Able to climb on top of tank trucks, storage tanks, etc using ladders, hand rails, etc. Involves twisting, turning, pushing and pulling.
-Lift and carry 30-50 pounds on regular basis
-Ability to lift/pull hoses (30 ��"50 lb) while climbing on/off tanks


-Work outdoors in inclement weather
