Job Description
Overview:
Cray is looking for creative, problem-oriented team player to join their Systems Software Engineer to work in the Cray Management Services team.
Responsibilities:
Cray Management Services provides the system administrative interface to the Cray system, providing platform environments for monitoring, accounting, logging, and administration. Additionally, Cray Management Services engineers develop and maintain system platform environments to enhance the capabilities of the Cray's highly-scalable Compute Linux Environment. Engineer will be responsible for design, development, debug, and maintenance of new and existing software components and utilities.
Qualifications:
* BS Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
* 5+ years of directly related experience preferred.
* C programming experience.
* Linux system experience.
* Python experience strongly preferred.
* HPC or large scale systems experience strongly desirable.
