DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under close supervision this position supports engineering activities such as test, installation, maintenance and operation of basic laboratory equipment. Utilizing schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions performs routine testing and trouble-shooting and records data.
Essential Functions
Researching and applying appropriate tool calibration intervals based on manufacturer recommendations and/or existing intervals.
Applying and tracking tool identification numbers and intervals.
Auditing tools and maintaining stickers on existing tools located in department toolboxes and cabinets.
Collect and prepare tools for shipment.
Verify calibration certificates against interval requirements.
Input calibration data into database, validate information and provide reports with identified data.
Distribute updated tools to toolboxes, cabinets and various tool custodians within both Flight Operation facilities.
Administer reports and manage the repair of damaged and/or broken tools.
Arange on-site calibrations when and where needed for both locations.
Maintain, update and verify calibration information, database and reports for the calibration equipment.
Adhere to procedures for calibrating equipment in accordance with ISO and DCMA regulations.
Administer inventory and maintenance of new tools.
Carries out a variety of routine duties including housekeeping and clean up.

Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent or Certificate in a related discipline. Requires a basic knowledge of the technical field and associated policies and procedures. Must have ability to read and understand technical instructions, drawings and specifications and utilize basic equipment such as hand, machine and/or measuring tools. Must be able to respond to routine issues or situations and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Must have basic computer applications and software skills, and have the skills necessary to precisely record technical data. Familiar with safety rules and regulations. May be required to work in unusual conditions such as high pressure, high voltage, high energy, cryogens, heights, weights, or radioactive materials and able to work extended hours and /or any shift as required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior calibration experience. Strong organization, planning and documentation skills. Experience with aircraft maintenance equipment.
