Overview:

The Back Up Head Teller is expected to be a customer experience leader as well as the operational leader of the branch. This position requires the individual to adhere to and support First Niagara Bank’s Statement of Values. SALES EXPECTATIONSLead and Manage the Team to Achieve branch referral goals, striving for platinumIdentify and convert service to sales opportunitiesEngage in relationship building discussions to uncover and anticipate client needsManage daily activities to exceed goalsSERVICE EXPECTATIONS Actively seek opportunities to provide an outstanding client experience to every client you serve, every timeGet to know your clients to help them to achieve their financial dreams and anticipate their financial needsAssist in Coaching the Team to consistently create the FN customer experienceTake the time to Reward and Recognize the Best in Class performances on my TeamPEOPLE EXPECTATIONS Assist in clearly defining the priorities of the day in a morning huddle & in updating the whiteboard with daily outcomesTreat internal partners as well as you would your best clients! Including expressing appreciationBe an effective team member by doing whatever needs to be doneADMINISTRATIVE/OPERATIONAL EXPECTATIONS Assist in leading & managing teller team to achieve established operational, compliance & security standardsGuide branch on how to be compliant in daily handlings &educate on operational changes as they occurBalance work dailyMaintain operational proficiency in performing client transaction/serviceMust adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, First Niagara’s Compliance Policy and external compliance requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills: High School Diploma or GED required Two years experience in a sales and/or service environment Two years cash handling experienceBasic MathCommunicationComputer proficiency Customer serviceListeningOrganizationalOrganizational skillsSales
