Job Description

DescriptionPerform standard Operations and Management (O&M) using HP network monitoring tools to support the MDA Network on the JRDC contract at Schriever AFB, CO. Primary tools currently used are the HP Business Technology Optimization (BTO) suite. Support the Network Monitoring Tools team by executing daily battle rhythm procedures. Perform administrative functionality of HPOV tool suite including Business Availability Center (BAC), Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB), Discovery and Dependency Mapping (DDM), Business Process Monitor (BPM), Sitescope, Operations Manager for Windows (OMW), Network Node Manager (NNM), Internet Services and Performance Insight. Create, edit, deploy and troubleshoot Operations policies. Add, remove, manage and un-manage nodes and interfaces. QualificationsBasic Qualifications: Associate's degree and 4 years experience with some of the following HP network monitoring tools: uCMDB, BAC, DDM, OMW, NNM. General knowledge of computing systems and networks. Team skills are a must. Willingness and flexibility to provide after hours support as needed. Must be able to establish, maintain and follow documented processes and procedures. Candidate must possess or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance. Security+ certification required, or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the MDA and BMDS programs. Experience working in an enterprise environment.
