Job Description

U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company's role is to responsibly manufacture and market its brands to adult tobacco consumers. We are currently seeking a highly qualified Machinist/Millwright to join our Machine Shop department in our Franklin Park location. The successful candidates will be expected to repair, maintain, dismantle, adjust, and assemble industrial machinery and supporting equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operational manuals and manufacturer's specifications. The machinery and mechanical equipment will include engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and presses.

Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will: Be at least 18 years of age Be eligible to work in the U.S. and for Altria family of companies Be able to work rotating shifts Possess journeyman mechanical/millwright credentials (or equivalent mechanical/millwright work experience). Have strong safety orientation Have excellent problem solving abilities Have strong communication skills Have a high degree of initiative and conscientiousness Have the ability to help our team drive innovation Have the ability to interpret and work from blueprints and drawings Have the ability to use measuring tools, hand tools and machine shop equipment.
