Job Description
Personal Care Center Manager
We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Manager/Embalmer in Bakersfield, Ca. Interested parties submitting resumes should have a California Embalmers license. Case volume is approximately 800 per year.
Responsible for leading all aspects of the Personal Care Center activities including selecting of staff, training, and motivating to assure they maintain the Company s premier level of client satisfaction and uphold the Dignity Promise. Manage with a focus on optimizing resources, procurement needs and cost containment. The Manager would be responsible for the Personal Care Center activities being conducted in accordance with company processes, procedures and standards, as well as, in compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
Requirements:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
-As Personal Care Center Manager you would be require to embalm, dress and dress alongside your team.
-Accountable for ensuring adequate resources are available for all required Personal Care Center functions.
-Accountable for providing formal and informal training to Personal Care Center staff.
-Identifies and applies the Personal Care Center processes, procedures and standards to various conditions within the market.
-Accountable for ensuring that decedent transfers and identifications are being handled in conformance with company standards.
-Builds cooperation between the Personal Care Center, funeral homes and all general support functions by promoting a team atmosphere.
-Ensures that the quality checks are performed in accordance with company standards.
-Assist s, monitors and supports the Supervisory/Dispatch functions for proper and efficient scheduling and utilization of available company resources.
-Responsible for purchasing, maintaining and updating vehicle fleet including hearses, limousines and vans in accordance with company standards.
