Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Responsible for managing the implementation process for new clients as assigned by the Global head of Implementation and Consulting.

Works with Sales during pre-sales and pilot negotiations and manages the warm handover from Sales to Implementation after a client signs up

Works directly with the client from offices and on-site to setup system in a manner best fitting the client's business needs, including business analysis, system setup and user training.

Project manages all aspects of the Implementation from pre-sales through to final go-live and handover to tradesupport using the defined implementation processes and documentation.

Provides regular updates to mgmt on all aspects of ongoing implementations, flagging potential issues early in the process to allow pro-active mgmt and correction.

Constantly seeks to improve the existing implementation process based on experience with past and present implementations.

Identifies potential system improvements to enhance t product aimed at making it easier to use and more attractive to current and future clients.

Identifies potential revenue generating opportunities as they arise during the Implementation process.

2. Responsible for identifying, selling and executing consulting opportunities for clients.

Completes paid consultancy work on behalf of clients on system setup, configuration and analysis that is beyond companies standard offering for implementations and support. This could include:

o custom risk scenarios

o bulk data/configuration uploads (fees amd comms)

o Model validation discussions

o Middle/Backoffice functions

Regularly visits with new and existing clients to discuss and sell available consultancy services.

Works with internal teams to understand and be able to train others on advanced areas of the system:

o Development

o Documentation

o Business Analysts

o Technical Implementation

When not engaged with Implementations or consultancy, works to improve the skills and knowledge of the tradesupport and other internal teams.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education and Experience:

Degree in Business/Finance.

In-depth knowledge/experience of trading and risk management systems.

Experience facing and winning over difficult clients in the finance industry.

SKILLS:

Highly confident, self-starter.

Well organised.

Excellent presentation skills.

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

Equity Derivatives/Fixed Income/Trading strategies knowledge.

Ability to handle time-sensitive and volatile client situations.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

1. International and domestic travel required.
