VP OF MARKETING STRATEGY
Lucas Group is seeking a VP of Marketing for an industry leader in healthcare and insurance. You will lead the development of annual strategic marketing plans and Go-to-Market strategy for multiple segments within group markets individual markets and cross lines of business. You will oversee multiple Marketing Directors who have accountability for marketing plan development/execution and analysis for the various lines of business. Collaboration with executives in Product, Strategic Operations, Innovation, Sales, Finance, Senior Markets (and others) to ensure that marketing is focused on key business initiatives to align with corporate strategy. Work closely with Corporate Executives across the enterprise to solidify annual marketing strategy and to position our company and its products/services strategically to maximize business goals.

Oversees marketing strategy team and also leads the development of long-range strategic plans for products and services and annual marketing plans for each market segment to maximize sales i.e. National Accounts or Individual Markets.
Create and develop dedicated market insights function to inform the organization on industry trends, economic indices and competitor strategies: Competitive intelligence; Qualitative research; Quantitative research. Oversees traditional market research decision support function for the organization. HAS OVERALL ACCOUNTABILITY FOR MARKET RESEARCH ON SATISFACTION, TRENDS AND PRODUCTS THAT INFORMS THE MARKET STRATEGY EFFORTS.
Serves as consensus builder/collaborator within the Marketing Department and across multiple disciplines and departments within the company and its entities, i.e. Product, Strategic Ops, Innovation, Sales, Customer Service etc
Real time analysis of marketing plan results; makes incremental marketing plan refinements to maximize effectiveness (target audience awareness/perceptions/lead generation). Ensures marketing strategies reinforce the company brand positioning.
Aligns priorities and resources across Marketing Strategy team and works with peers across Marketing organization to assure mutual success.
Sources and manages external resources/partners to enable marketing effectiveness.
