Mortgage Appraisal Professional

Job Classification: Direct Hire

Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily status calls on orders in all associated queues
- Undergo training, periodic testing and continued education requirements specific to the appraisal industry to maintain employment in the department
- Pre-Underwrite appraisal products with the objective to verify their compliance to USPAP, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and client specific reporting guidelines
- Audit transaction information for completeness and accuracy
- Communicate directly with appraisers to coordinate appropriate report revisions underwriting guidelines and completion deadlines
- Provide telephone support for Clients and Appraisers as related to Department protocol, appraisal report inquiries and general industry guidelines

Requirements:
- Strong Mortgage Industry Knowledge
- MUST have experience in the mortgage industry
- Experience reviewing appraisals and making revisions
- Ability to work a rotating shift based on workflow and department needs
- Passing grade on administered Mortgage Assessment

Please note:
Standard Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7am-10pm and shifts can rotate between those hours. Saturdays may be included due to workflow on a once or twice monthly basis.
