Medical Records Clerk

We currently have an opportunity for an organized, experienced and highly motivated per diem ISC Medical Records Clerk within our Oklahoma City Home Health ISC Network in Edmund OK. Medical Records Clerk Responsibilities: * Ensures clinical documentation is copied and filed correctly. * Secures the necessary physician signatures and clinical staff signatures for the clinical documentation. * Responsible for maintaining accurately the clinical Medical record. * Ensures all necessary documents are sent and received in the centralized ISC billing office * Orders necessary clinical forms as directed by the management staff * Orders clinical and office supplies as directed by the management staff * Manage the sending of documents through vendors such as Fed- Ex * Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. * Adheres to communication and accountability guidelines established by local and regional administration. * Maintains positive relationships and rapport with co-workers, residents, family members and community personnel. * Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum efficiency during assigned shift. * Ability to work varying hours, including weekends, nights and holidays. * Assists with and participates in Continuous Quality Improvement Program as required. * Adheres to established confidentiality standards as required by Innovative Senior Care and HIPPA concerning community and patient information. * Projects a positive and professional image at all times. * Maintains the confidentiality of all patient information * Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Requirements: * High School Diploma * Minimum of one year experience in an office setting. * Proficient with computer use and software applications necessary to perform job functions. * Must have excellent organizational skills.
