Job Description:
Experience in service provider networking and/or cable industry highly desired.
Detailed knowledge of IP routing and Optical Transport technologies is a major plus.
Strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting an installed equipment base is essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of a process for managing a large territory, including demand generation, forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations and short-term and long-term opportunity management essential.
Solution selling and business case development skills desired.
Must have the ability to deliver business value to the account and build on customer relationships.
Strong technical and business knowledge with complimentary skills to understand customer business requirements align to Cisco solutions and close strategic deals essential.
Experience in engaging resources including the BUs to drive sales necessary.
Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy.
The ability to position end to end solutions and articulate complex technical vision to senior customer executives is essential.
Must be an aggressive self-starter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco product and business strategies, and create the demand and close deals

Minimum of 5 years successful sales experience selling to a service provider and managing a large account in a growing business environment.
BS or equivalent education.
