Job Title: Exercise Planner Analyst
Work Location: Ft. McNair, Washington, DC
Annual Salary: 75,000 82,000
Clearance: TS
Education: Bachelor's Degree required

Specific Duties:
The services required for this position include providing non-personal services in support of a wide range of JFHQ-NCR activities. Provide expert advice and operational support, including hands-on operation of various C4I systems, in support of JFHQ-NCR's mission. Provide a range of services to sustain and execute a proactive and resourceful process of "See First, Understand First, and Act First" in partnership with NCR Homeland Security partners to safeguard the Nation's capital. These processes include maintaining communications with Federal emergency databases, understanding internal crisis management activation systems, and ensuring JFHQ-NCR key leaders are informed of critical NCR information requirements.
Support JFHQ-NCR in planning and coordinating for land Homeland Security/Defense and Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA) in the NCR and to maintain situational awareness and a common operational picture (COP) for the JOA and Joint Area of Interest (JAOI) and all other events where JFHQ-NCR involvement is expected or planned. The contractor shall provide continuous real-time situational awareness of the utilization and tracking of assigned forces for homeland defense and defense support to civil authorities.
Required Skills:
The work will require expertise, and practical operational experience in support of the JFHQ-NCR Exercise Planning Position:
Ability to provide planning support for the coordination, development and execution of Joint, Army, Regional and Interagency exercises
Experience with facilitating training and readiness assessments through the annual exercise program
Experience with scheduling, planning, conducting, and facilitating Training Objective Workshops (TOWs)
Ability to schedule, plan, and facilitate Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Synchronization conferences
Experience with drafting timetables and milestones, prepare briefings and correspondence and assist in distribution of the command's policy on Training and Exercises and assist with execution of the command lessons learned program
Qualifications:
Experience with exercise development to include coordination, development and execution of exercise plans and programs
Experience with facilitating training and readiness assessments through the annual exercise program
Ability to schedule, plan, and facilitate Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Synchronization conferences
Experience with drafting timetables and milestones, prepare briefings and correspondence
Experience with Defense Readiness Reporting System
Experience with collection, documentation and presentation of formal After Action Reviews, observations and contributing to the Joint Lessons Learned database
