Our client is looking for a creative and motivated front-end developer. You will be part of a team that works on one of the largest regional sites in the country. A passion for new technologies and a drive to find better ways to produce interactive online content is key!
You are:

- Curious or familiar with: Modernizr, respond.js, HTML5 boilerplate, etc?

- Have an idea of how to structure maintainable javascripts using best practices, like Object Literals and anonymous self-invoking functions.

- Someone who has worked with large CMSs and has experience in integrating front-end code in a maintainable and scalable manner.

- Passionate about the front-end development community, and stay current on new technologies.

You have:

- Expert level knowledge in HTML with strong understanding of HTML5

- Expert in CSS, with strong understanding of CSS3

- Expert in JavaScript and jQuery

- Experience with responsive design methodologies and optimization techniques

- Experience with 3rd party API integration and social web development

- Adherence to web standards and best practices for performance and accessibility and scalability

- Experience with source control systems such as SVN and git a must

- A portfolio of projects and code you are excited to showcase
