Job Description
ASRC Research and Technology Solutions (ARTS), a Subsidiary of ASRC Federal Holding, is an engineering, research and technology services company with contracts supporting multiple federal agencies. Our extensive team of Ph.D. scientists, engineers and professional management personnel allows us to bring real-world experience to meet the growing demand for solutions to some of the most complex problems in Aeronautics, Aviation, IT Management, and Earth and Space Sciences.
NASA has selected ARTS to provide mission support services under the Program Analysis and Control (PAAC) III contract that will support NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center Projects Directorate in Greenbelt, MD. This project will have five (5) years ordering period and a maximum ordering value of $200 million. ARTS will support newly proposed, under development and on-going programs including the Hubble and James Web Space Telescopes, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter and the Gamma-ray large Area Telescope. We also provide planning and scheduling, configuration management, information technology, documentation and library, general business and general accounting services.
Responsibilities
This is a full-time temporary position (3 months) supporting the Earth Science Division Program at NASA HQ.

This is a highly visible Directorate level position that places a heavy emphasis on punctuality and professionalism.

The incumbent shall be responsible for providing formal control which includes documentation, planning and tracking of division milestones, developing and maintaining division documents and other supporting products, including but not limited to the weekly Quad Chart and the Monthly Status Review presentation packages.

The incumbent shall organize forums and venues for meetings and events with division senior leadership which includes identifying the need for, organizing, and coordinating any pre-briefings associated with these meetings and events.

For some events, off-site or on-site, the incumbent shall provide services to include but not be limited to documenting issues, ensuring the computer network connections, tracking action items, reporting status, preparing presentation packages, maintaining security (arranging attendees' badges) and coordinating events to include physical plant assessments.

The incumbent shall prepare travel orders.

The incumbent shall attend meetings as needed, prepares meeting summaries/minuets and follow up on appropriate actions.

The incumbent shall manage the ESD compliance and response to appropriate formal and informal requests and actions from the Directorate, the Agency and outside entities. Working with the Associate Directors, ESD staff, Resources Management Division staff and others as appropriate, the incumbent shall coordinate the development of and perform long-term maintenance of comprehensive documentation of ESD management processes (standing meetings, organization, etc.) and flight and other project binders/reference materials.
Requirements

Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of HQ procedures and process, as well as excellent interpersonal skills

Coordination and facilitation skills are essential

Ability to interface with a variety of personalities with excellent interpersonal skills in general

Good writing and verbal communication skills

Ability to prioritize and multi-task to satisfy quick response requirements

Ability to work with a diverse group of contractor and Government employees, possess strong organizational skills and be extremely detailed and very accurate

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with FedTravel a plus, but not mandatory

Individual must meet government NAC and citizenship/work permit requirements for access to NASA HQ; extensive background investigation will be performed as a requirement of the job.

Bachelor's Degree and seven years of experience or eight years in lieu of education
