Purchasing Agent /Purchasing Manager -

Do you have Purchasing experience, especially with supplies indicative to the Bioscience and pharmaceutical drug industry?
**Medical supply experience is preferred on the Purchasing side , but not Required!

This is a permanent position with an Immediate start, located on the North west side of San Antonio!

We are searching for candidates who have experience in developing purchasing/receiving systems, specifically in a Good Manufacturing Practice(GMP) environment.

** We are searching for a strong Purchasing background in our candidate.

Position involves purchasing all supplies including lab chemicals, analytical column, vials, stoppers, labels, etc. Will also purchase active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), as well as consumables, like gloves and other gowning supplies.

Position involves implementing a receiving system with QA support and verify PO's against packing list. Must be able to maintain segregation between Released and Quarantined materials.
Must have purchasing experience, in the medical field. We are an equal employment opportunity employer.

Job Experience:

Must pass criminal Background check & drug test
Must be proficient with MS office, 2007 to also include MS Project. Heavy Excel utilization.
