Job Description
Our client in Mobile, Alabama has a great opportunity available for a Structural Engineer. Experience in a FAR environment and familiarity with FAA requirements is required. This is a long term contract position with benefits available through Express' Specialized Recruiting Group.Description of duties and responsibilities:~Develop structural design and substantiations for new aircraft modifications. ~Review structural analysis documents to verify compliance with airworthiness standards.~Report potential non-compliance to Chief Engineer. ~Assist in project certification.~Develop methods for uniform publication of document changes. ~Extensive knowledge of mechanics of metallic materials and airframe design is preferred.
Requirements
Experience and Education Requirements:Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Aerospace/Aeronautical,
Civil, or Mechanical) 5 - 10 years experience as an Avionics EngineerExperience
with FAA requirementsMS Project, MS Office Suite, and various CAD programs
