Contracts Specialist - Permanent Job

Yoh has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Contracts Specialist to join our client in Springfield, VA.Job Responsibilities: - Provide contract administration, database entry, and file maintenance support.- Work directly with the program managers and other departments in executing contracting process from formation through closeout.- Responsible for helping maintain contracts processed and policies.- Establish good working relationships with internal and external customers.- Support contracts, pricing, and subcontract management for new and existing agreements.- Maintain contract information via database and electronic paper files.- Prepare and distribute contract status and compliance information.- Draft contractual documents.- Prepare reports and briefs management on issues or problems.- Participate in special projects as required.- Assists with proposal construction.Job Qualifications: - Ability to multi-task and set priorities in a fast paced environment.- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word and Excel).- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.- The ability to interact with co-workers and clients face to face and in meeting settings is required.- Experience in the Federal Contracting and the FAR is required.- Contracts (either on the Federal or commercial side) experience is required.Discover all that's possible with Yoh.
