Job Description

Job SummarySupport the Enterprise Logistics group in one or several assigned areas such as Transportation, Warehousing, Sales and Operations Planning and Demand Planning. Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
1) Conduct research to support Transportation Procurement and Transportation Operations.a. KPI development and benchmarking.b. Cost analysis for multi-mode network optimization.2) Conduct research to identify opportunities to improve non-Finished Goods working capitala. KPI and reporting improvementsb. Analysis of safety stock levels and buying practices/MRP system settings3) Review of distressed inventory management processa. Reporting and RACI development and work-flow System enhancementPosition Responsibilities
- Cross-functional team building skills
- Unique approaches to Root Cause and Gap Analysis
- Analytical and data evaluation
- Understanding of business from manufacturing to customerPosition Qualifications
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program related to Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum GPA 3.3
- Strong results orientation.
- Demonstrated strengths in relationship building, problem solving and conflict management.
- Ability to problem solve with limited guidance
- Continuous improvement mindset and methodology
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills.
