Job Description
SUMMARY
Directs and controls all activities related to the Program Management Department including customer contact, liaison department with all internal resources
Focuses these groups to achieve company and facility goals and objectives
Develops and implements policies and procedures
Works cooperatively with all appropriate departments to meet internal metric and customer requirements
Selects, develops, and evaluates subordinate employees
Participates with other senior managers to establish plans and objectives.
Interacts with customers and other corporate functions to achieve plant objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the customer communications, processes and strategies necessary to maintain timely delivery of existing and new PCB's and assemblies to assigned customer(s).
Develop and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by effectively coordinating the demands of key multi-site customers across multiple Sanmina-SCI plant locations.
Develop relationships and communicate high level strategies as well as routine tactical details with all levels of management within Sanmina-SCI and major Customers.
Monitor and effectively maintain key business metrics for assigned customers and products such as revenue, profit margins, accounts receivable, inventory and customer satisfaction measurements.
Provide guidance and leadership to others assigned to the same customers and product lines and well as other departments.
Communicate daily with assigned customer(s) and other Sanmina-SCI locations. Occasional travel to these locations is required.
Plan and direct schedules/forecasts. Maintain accurate backlog for assigned Customer(s).
Monitor projects from purchase order initiation through delivery ensuring on-time completion of the product within budget constraints.
Perform a wide variety of tasks related to the support of customers' requirements and solving problems.
Interface frequently with manufacturing to assure proper prioritization, optimum cost and service that exceeds customer expectations.
Manage the alignment of contract parameters with business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven ability to manage and develop a department
The ability to handle and resolve multiple projects at once.
Effective in planning and prioritizing activities as needed to accomplish tasks in a timely manner based on customer needs.
Excellent communication skills
EXPERIENCE
3-5 years proven experience in a Program Management, preferably in the Electronics Manufacturing Services industry
