Title Cost AccountantRequirements Qualified Candidates for this position will possess:- A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance-2+ years of related experience- Knowledge of General Ledger reconciliations, inventory and costing, variance reporting, and standard accounting practices- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsFunction A Leading Product Company located in Hudson County, New Jersey has the need for a Cost Accountant who will be responsible for the following activities:Duties - Prepare the daily sales and gross margin report for the regional distribution center- Maintain the item/branch and costing information for products shipped- Maintain related item distribution data in the company system - Handle the month end closing procedures and follow up analyses - Review and authorization of daily inventory adjustments- Provide accounting guidance and support of cycle count and physical inventory - Distribute vendor invoices - Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliation schedules for inventory, suspense liability and inventory transfers- Assist in month end closing activities and coordination of schedules prepared by financial personnel in the field.- Assist with the annual budget cycle and periodic forecastsLOCATIONJob Location New JerseyRelocation COMPENSATIONPay 60,000-75,000Type PermanentDuration OTHERComments If you are interested in this job please apply.
