Title Senior Tax AccountantRequirements Qualified Candidates will possess:- A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, MBA/CPA a plus - 3+ years of related experience - Strong analytical and communication skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Working knowledge of SAP, Vertex and InSource a plusFunction A Leading Manufacturing Company located in Somerset County, New Jersey is searching for a Senior Tax Accountant who will be responsible for the following:Duties - Support the Tax Department in all tax areas, with emphasis on state taxes, including income, sales and property taxes- Project support and compliance work- Compile information, analysis and preparation of tax information in support of assigned projects, tax returns and audits- Implement, maintain and update, as appropriate, accurate systems for tax compliance, including software and policies and procedures for tax department and other affected departments- Assist with project planning- Set appropriate goals and deadlines- Establish written project plans- Regularly monitor project status and seeing the project to final completion including recommending solutions and outlining suggested courses of action - Audit support, tax research and documentation, as needed - Keep current with regard to tax law changes and developments- Project areas will include state income tax, sales tax, property tax, federal income tax and other areas as neededLOCATIONJob Location New JerseyRelocation COMPENSATIONPay 65,000-75,000Type PermanentDuration OTHERComments If you are interested in this job please apply.
