Journeyman Plant Mechanic

Job Classification: Direct Hire

The journeyman plant mechanic will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining all industrial equipment at the plant site (including surface mine). This will include mechanical piping, rotating equipment, fabricating and welding, pump rebuilding, equipment alignment, pipeline welding etc.

Key Responsibilities:
-Repair rotating equipment including pumps, agitators, crushers, mills and turbines
-Cut and weld piping, tanks, and steel fabrication
-Install/repair HDPE, FRP and steel pipe lines
-Operator cranes, boom trucks and man lifts
-Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs., climb stairways and vertical ladders, work in cramped conditions and awkward postures and extreme weather conditions

Qualifications:
-Graduate from certified apprenticeship program or mechanical training program
-5+ years industrial experience as a journeyman mechanic or related role
-Pipe Welding Certification
