Requirments:
o Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
o Minimum 2-5+ years experience in the development and support of industrial or light industrial products
o General knowledge of engineering and manufacturing policies and operations, including production control, quality control and industrial engineering
o Demonstrated ability to solve difficult problems
o Should possess good analytical skills and the ability to organize and implement engineering projects or programs to detailed timelines and budgets
o Understanding of engineering standards, principles and theories
o Excellent interpersonal skills
o Excellent communication skills
o Ability to interface well with numerous stakeholders
o Willing to direct and receive direction from others
o Ability to work in and lead teams geographically separated
o MS Excel & Word
o Familiarity with common manufacturing processes, including sand castings and stampings
o Experience with boiler control devices such as: low-water cut offs, flow switches, pressure relief valves, and water feeder
o Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
o Design for Manufacturing
o Design for Assembly
o MS Project
o Knowledge of VBLSS and a stage-gate/toll-gate product development process
o Ability to work in and lead teams geographically separated
o Experience with electro/mechanical switch mechanisms
o Experience working with regulatory/listing agencies such as UL, FM, and CSA
o PRO/E Wildfire
