Grade 4 - Start Rate $8.59 per hour
Part-time - 25 hours/week with flexibility required
to meet program needs
Monday through Friday – 9:00 am to 2:30 pm
Location: Fulton Municipal Building
The Senior Services Division of OCO has announced the availability of a part-time position to independently perform routine work in managing the community Senior Nutrition Meal site. The Dining and Activity Center Manager must work in compliance with program goals and objectives, which include not only meals, but also support services.
The selected candidate should have knowledge of the elements of proper nutrition, portion control, hygienic food serving and local resources. The candidate should also have the ability to create and plan program activities, provide leadership to volunteer staff, display resourcefulness, tact and good judgment. The selected candidate must have the ability to create and maintain a warm, friendly, welcoming atmosphere with the ability to supervise a staff of volunteers.
Minimum qualifications for this part-time position are a High School Diploma or its equivalent and 12 months related experience; or any equivalent combination of life experience, education, or training. In order to be hired for this position, candidate must have a valid New York State Driver's License and access to a reliable, properly insured vehicle for some periodic travel.
