We work with our clients to help to them develop a high-impact strategies that leverage sustainability as a way to unlock value throughout all areas of an organization. Enterprise Sustainability offers an opportunity to work across many functions of an organization to position our clients to compete effectively in a complex and changing business environment. We are seeking a Senior Manager for our Enterprise Sustainability practice that will focus primarily but not exclusively on energy management. Senior Managers can lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements that identify, design, and implement creative yet pragmatic business solutions for large companies. Senior Manager responsibilities include providing service excellence by identifying key client business issues, determining client needs by supplementing standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analyses, and developing recommendations for the client in the context of an overall engagement. Senior Managers also implement and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance, and participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities. Qualifications and capabilities include: A minimum of 8 years consulting and/or industry experience. Experience in energy policy, strategy development and implementation, energy efficiency, demand management, energy supply and sourcing, and program management Experience with smart buildings, energy management technology, energy management systems, and building management systems Experience in both commercial and industrial environments A Bachelors Degree is required. Preferred in Environmental Sciences, Civil or Environmental Engineering or Physical Sciences An advanced degree is a plus. MBA preferred. PE, LEED accreditation, or ASHRAE certification a plus Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint). Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Eagerness to mentor junior staff This position may involve extensive travel up to 80% or more.
