Job Description

Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for managing compliance across business units and the continued development of Cephalon's Global Compliance program. By serving as a business partner and compliance advisor, he/she will continually enhance processes and systems and assist in structuring programs to ensure that processes are efficient and comply with policies, codes, laws and regulations impacting business operations. This position may involve 25% domestic travel.
Responsibilities:
* Supporting business partners with specific compliance-related advice* Assisting in the development of Company policies and procedures* Identifying and communicating compliance risks associated with business unit programs or processes* Participating on cross-functional teams designed to ensure the effective implementation of business unit activities* Improving and streamlining processes and procedures* Developing, maintaining and delivering training programs and materials* Developing and implementing compliance auditing and monitoring programs* Investigating compliance-related incidents* Leading and supporting ad hoc compliance projects* Ensuring all Corporate Integrity Agreement requirements are met

Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree is required* 10+ years experience in the pharmaceutical industry relating to compliance/law, finance/accounting, consulting or process auditing, sales, marketing, operations or training is required* Demonstrated leadership and teaching ability* Demonstrated project management experience and problem-solving as a member of a cross-functional team* Excellent written and oral presentation communication skills in order to design and deliver presentations, training, policies, procedures, etc.* A working understanding of codes, laws and regulations which impact the pharmaceutical industry, i.e., FDA Regulations, PhRMA Code, OIG Model Guidance* Must be able to travel
