Assistant Credit Analyst

Hexagon Metrology, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of high technology dimensional measuring equipment and software, is seeking an Assistant Credit Analyst for our US corporate headquarters in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Job Summary The Assistant Credit Analyst is responsible for investigating possible credit extended to domestic customers for goods and services provided; for collections of past due accounts not covered by Credit Analysts or National Accounts; and for maintaining customer accounts through effective cash application and collections. Specific responsibilities will include: .Review assigned accounts of 10K and under .Contact past due customer accounts to resolve delinquencies and ensure prompt payment .Determine collectability of past due accounts of 10K and under .Conduct credit investigations of new accounts, 10K and under .Responsible for cash applications from lockbox receipts, and research of all debits / discrepancies .Interface with intercompany departments to resolve credit issues and disputes involving shipments, products, and/or purchase order discrepancies .Responsible for credit approvals on service and parts orders 10K and under, as well as setting up all new customers for service .Perform LX account maintenance for 10K and under accounts Successful team players will possess: .Associate's degree in Finance or Accounting .2+ years commercial credit experience in a manufacturing environment .Effective interpersonal and communication skills .High level of organization and follow through .Proficiency in all MS Office Products .Intermediate Excel skills .BS in Finance or Accounting, preferred .Familiarity with LX, a plus At this time we will consider applicants who do not require Visa sponsorship.
