Job ResponsibilitiesFollowing established procedures, perform the following:· Provide analysis of raw materials, in process and finished products using a variety of chemistry and instrumental techniques. · Use appropriate computer software to enter, obtain and communicate analytical results.· Perform direct readings of various laboratory instruments, including balances, pH meters, color analyzers and thermometers.· Operate, maintain, and verify calibration for standard laboratory equipment (including, but not limited to, titrators, balances, pH meters, ovens, gas chromatographs, liquid chromatographs, viscometers and spectrophotometers).· Provide support developing analytical test methods when necessary.· Provide support for special projects when necessary.· Develop and maintain laboratory procedures.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
· Bachelor degree in chemistry or clinical lab
· 2 years of relevant analytical lab experience, preferred
· Knowledge of basic analytical testing techniques
· Must be familiar with equipment and instrumentation common to the laboratory work area and with using computer software in running tests
