strong   /strong p At West Side Ecumenical Ministry, (WSEM) we believe that every child is a unique, special, talented, and capable individual.   Highly trained and caring teachers and support staff work in partnership with families of children ages 0-5 to help each child develop school readiness skills, encourage a love of learning, and grow toward his or her physical, emotional, social and intellectual potential in a bi-lingual setting. /p p strong We are currently seeking  anexperienced and qualified Lead Teacher.  /strong   /p p sizcache='9' sizset='12' Re porting to the Site Administrator,  the strong u Lead Teacher /u /strong   is responsible for planning and implementing center activities to ensure the program meets established standards and requirements. S/he will provide an environment that is safe and healthy, assist with classroom set-up and maintenance, and classroom management. This position will also administer screenings and assessments, keeping accurate children’s records and schedule and conduct parent conferences.   /p p sizcache='9' sizset='12'  A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is strongly preferred; at a minimum, an Associate's degree in ECE,  with progress towards a Bachelor's degree  is strong u required. /u   /strong     Prior experience working with preschool aged children is required.    Good oral and written communication skills.    Ability to relate positively with staff, parents, and the community.    Work history characterized by good attendance and punctuality is necessary.  A must be able to pass a required background check and pre-employment physical which includes a drug test. /p img src='http://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?oUrlyDpslJhFsS09MhGQxgz' width='0' height='0' /
