Hospital has expanding to provide major medical services such as a 6 bed Pediatric unit, In-house PET/CT department and an expanded ER unit. Physician will be very welcomed in the community. Payor mix is 52% Medicare, 7% managed care, 15% Medicaid, 2% commercial, 5% HMO, 12% Blue Cross and 7% other. Office space available within walking distance to the hospital. Very large referral base, including primary and secondary markets. Primary service is Lake Havasu City; secondary markets include Kingman, Needles, Fort Mohave, Bullhead City, Parker and Quartzsite. About the Hospital Havasu Regional Medical Center is a Medicare-certified, Joint Commission-accredited, 181-bed acute care facility providing 24-hour emergency service with full-time emergency physicians on duty. It is a state-certified ALS Base Hospital, authorizing medical direction and support of pre-hospital care providers, fire department paramedics and ambulance personnel.
