Job Description
Technical Support Specialist
Maple Grove, MN
Carl Zeiss Industrial Metrology LLC, a world leader in the manufacturing and servicing of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) Technology, has opportunities available for a Technical Support Specialist to be responsible for the troubleshooting & resolving technical problems for customers around the world. The position also supports the distribution of technical information and product knowledge for all coordinate measuring systems including Hardware, Software and Calibration Processes used in Aftermarket Services.
Qualified candidate must possess at least an AAS in Electronics/Electronic Technology, AAS in Mechanical Technology, Software Technology or other related degree. Knowledge of WIN 95/98/NT/XP required. Strong customer service & technical skills are essential. Knowledge of CMM’s, Automation Systems, Machine Tools or Robotics a plus. Must be willing to travel 25%.
