This Physical Therapy Assistant job is a thirteen week assignment at one of our prestigious Acute Care facilities in Sumter.|We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for one of our prestigious Acute Care facilities in Sumter. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an acute care/hospital setting. Essential duties and responsibilities of the Physical Therapist Assistant include providing skilled therap y services and interventions in accordance with Physician orders, assessing patient's functional limitations, developing a plan of care consistent with the rehabilitation goals of the patient and participating in the interdisciplinary acute care team. The will be involved in patient education and will have to have a knowledge of documentation and billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and Private Insurance Carriers as well as the ability to complete computerized documentation.
