Senior Lead Software Developer Engineers

Senior Lead Software Developer Engineers, BAE Systems Information Solutions, 2 Massachusetts Ave., NE, Washington D.C.: Will be responsible for software design and development using SAS and SAS technologies for the Office of Technology and Survey Processing. Responsibilities include: Work on a team of Information Technology specialists to redesign Publications Tables sub-system; guide project through the entire software development life cycle stages from requirements gathering and analysis through the design, development and testing of software systems; work in a client-server environment, to design, develop and test software applications using SAS, SAS BI Tools with stored processes and SQL which may involve interacting with an Oracle database. Will regularly: design and implement major software applications using Base SAS, SAS Macro Language and SAS SQL; perform survey data processing including data editing, aggregations and calculations; work with SAS/IntrNet, SAS Integration Technologies, SAS Stored Processes, SAS Web Technologies, SAS AppDev Studio, and SAS Enterprise Guide.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or any related field, (foreign equivalent degrees accepted), or in the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree in the same fields plus five years of progressive experience in any related occupation. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.

Special Requirements: Must also possess demonstrated ability to: 1) design and implement major software applications using Base SAS, SAS Macro Language and SAS SQL and to perform survey data processing including data editing, aggregations and calculations i.e. imputations and allocations; and 2) Utilize SAS/IntrNet, SAS Integration Technologies (Metadata server), SAS Stored Processes, SAS Web Technologies including SASAppDev Studio, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
