nbsp;If you re looking for a job that you can really sink your teeth into, then join the Army National Guard as a Dental Specialist. Dental care is one of the health services provided to Guard personnel all over the world. Dental Specialists assist dentists in the examination and treatment of patients, and help manage dental offices. Additional responsibilities may include cleaning patients teeth, assisting with the administration of anesthesia and x-rays, and performing maintenance on dental equipment. Health care is one of the most wide open and promising career fields available today. Use your Dental Specialist experience in the Guard to prepare for jobs in civilian dental offices, clinics, and treatment centers. You may even qualify for positions with research institutions and public health departments. Earn while you learn Instead of paying to learn these skills, get paid to train. In the Army National Guard, you will learn these valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance. Job training for Dental Specialists consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you ll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 30 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Training consists of both classroom and field work. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications. Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Benefits subject to change.
