Job Description

TASC is seeking a professional indivdiual to support the DNI Divison as part of the CSB Program & Assessment team directly supporting the CSB Branch Chief.


This mid level position will necessitate that the candidate selected develop a broad understanding of the IT initiatives managed by CSB and its leadership, and must be able to set priorities in work assignments. The successful candidate must project a professional demeanor, utilizing oral and written communication skills of the highest quality. Interpersonal skills are extremely important, as this position requires working with a senior professional staff, high-level government leadership within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), and mid- to high-level government leadership within the Intelligence Community (IC) agencies. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, flexible, and willing to take the initiative on tasks supporting the MED leadership.


RESPONSIBLITIES


The primary responsibilities include:



-Analyze and assess identified IT investments from an oversight and business perspective
-Assess IT investments within the context of their contribution to strategic plans
-Analyze IT investments to identify gaps and areas of overlapping capabilities
-With guidance, prepare and present recommended actions to support IT investment decisions
-Partner with teammates to support on-going processes and activities
-Coordinate and facilitate information gathering activities with other ODNI and IC components/teams
-Respond to information requests and tasking related to assigned focus area
-Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:


-Previous experience within the IC as a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA)
-Possess an understanding of PfM theory and processes and its implementation
-Prior experience performing risk management, trade-off analysis, and/or gap analysis
-Possess a working knowledge of the principles of systems engineering as applied within the IC
-Possess a solid understanding of the IT issues being addressed in the IC today
-Effective verbal and written communicative skills, including the ability to write at the executive level ; demonstrated leadership skills
-Willingness to travel locally (within the Washington DC Metropolitan area)
-7-10 years work experience as an individual contributor or team lead, to include at least 3 years within the IC
-Bachelor?s degree in a technical/engineering field, IT-related field, or business administration
-Active TS/SCI clearance w/CI poly


Desired:



-Previous experience preparing briefings for executive-level decision makers
-Ability to work comfortably in a multi-vendor, high-energy environment
-Knowledge of portfolio management concepts, analysis, and IT investment recommendations
-Program Management Professional, ITIL, or similar certification holder
-Master?s degree in a technical/engineering field, IT-related field, or business administration
