Job Description
There are four Compensation Analyst Prin positions, but only one job posting. Exact Arlington location TBD. Travel 10%.
The Principal Compensation Analyst will provide a senior level of compensation expertise across a broad-base of employee pay programs to include base pay and incentive pay programs for one or more Sectors within BAE. Key Areas of Responsibility * Assist with development, implementation and management of strategic compensation programs and solutions that align with organizational goals/objectives while ensuring cost effectiveness. * Lead/Support quarterly and annual compensation programs including merit and incentive pay * Build financial models to analyze and assess compensation data related to all employee compensation programs * Conduct market pricing by job matching with Business Partner team *Develop and maintain salary ranges * Review requests for new or revised roles to determine appropriate salary grade assignment. * Evaluate positions to determine FLSA exemption status * Responsible for participation in annual compensation surveys to collect and analyze market data to determine company's competitive position. * Develop communications and training for new and existing pay programs * Provides consultative technical expertise, guidance and makes recommendations to line managers and Company's Business Partner team on compensation issues.
Requirements:
Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Experience: 8+ years
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree or equivalent and related experience and eight years of experience. Strong consultative skills and ability to work in a team environment. Knowledge of job evaluation methods, market salary analysis and geographic pay differential conceptsThorough understanding of FLSA, Equal Pay Act and other fair-pay driven legislationMicrosoft Office -specifically advanced level Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Skills:
WorldatWork CCP certification or coursework strongly preferred.In-depth knowledge of data querying, reporting, forecasting, and analysis, including statistical methods and modeling Self-directed ability to research, prepare results, findings, and alternativesCompensation specialist experience in a government contracting environment
