Job Description

Manage the configuration and functional support of SAP Materials Management (MM) and procurement within a global SAP ERP environment. Manage project activities as part of SAP full life-cycle implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, go-live and support activities. Analyze and solve complex system problems as part of the overall SAP MM and Procurement support process, including end to end process (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Release Strategies, Goods Receipt Process, Invoice Verification process), Standard and Inter-company Purchasing Documents and Pricing Procedures, Stock Transports, Source Lists, Info-Records, Output Determination, standard and custom output documents, vendor master, material master, material movements, storage locations, material types, number ranges, as well as other configuration items. Manage EDI and IDOC processing. Perform all aspects of creation of custom forms, custom transactions and custom reports, including analysis/requirements gathering, design documentation, and Functional Specification Form development (FSF), and work with development team, testing, SOP process changes and training documents. Oversee MM and Procurement related assignments, including coordination of testing, FSF updates, working with the IT Quality group and business counterparts. Utilizing change control procedures, engage in the creation and ownership of business requirements, functional specifications, and testing. Provide coaching and consulting to junior team members and business owners on SAP MM and procurement solutions, including assisting with the training of new users. Document issues and solutions as problems are addressed. Work directly with Business Owners and the Development team to prioritize issues and projects within the Supply Chain area. Stay abreast of new functionality offered by SAP in the MM and Procurement areas to take advantage of enhancements as they become available and proactively identify areas of continuous improvement to reduce overall support requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any type), Business Management, or a related field and 5 years experience in the position offered or related and 4 years must include:
