Direct Support Professional - Individuals with disabilities ( Job Number: 110ZO ) Primary Location United States-MN-MNRochester REM River Bluffs, a partner of the MENTOR Network, offers home and community based services throughout Minnesota's Olmsted County, to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as autism spectrum disorders, mental health issues, physical disabilities with complex medical needs and brain injury. We offer a range of residential services and in-home supports tailored to the needs of each individual. All of our services are designed to allow those we serve to be as independent as possible. As a Direct Support Professional(DSP) with REM River Bluffs youll be one of those special people. DSPs are the link to the community for those they serve. For some, they may be the eyes of those unable to see, or the voice for those who cant speak. For others, they are friend, cheerleader and subtle support on the path to ones true potential. REM River Bluffs is seeking Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities in a community-based setting. DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
