Technical Lead / Senior Database Lead

Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a Technical Leader with major focus on Database tier for Identity Services Engine (ISE) product, the next generation Identity and Policy Management platform running in Linux environment- Play a significant role as a strong Oracle Database expert for the business unit and be the go-to person for DB issues- Lead and influence the database design choices to ensure ISE product's robustness and reliability in complex deployments and help achieve high scalability and performance for ISE.- Architects, designs and develops new complex software solutions or enhancements involving Oracle database and one or more programming languages (Java/C/C++).- Develop large portions of application and/or database software independently and rapidly. Understand new market requirements and possess in-depth knowledge of own product and broad knowledge of other related products- Work across different scrum teams in an agile development model and collaborate cross functionally with Product managers, TMEs, Dev, QA, and Documentation teams. - Closely interact with TAC and customers to address their critical database related issues on ISE deployments.- Sponsors and models exemplary team interaction.Job
Requirements
:
- Requires MSEE/CS combined with 8-10 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 10+ yrs of related experience.- Expert in Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning and Unix/Linux.- Expert in database management and designs including maintenance, security, performance tuning, RMAN, back-up-recovery procedures, and upgrades- Experience in application programming in Java/J2EE preferably using Java ORM frameworks like Hibernate / iBatis to build middle-tier (or application) components of ISE.- Experience in JDBC, Spring JDBC, or other database access programming experience is a must, as well as any IDE and shell (Korn, C, Bash, etc.,) scripting- Experience with at least one scripting language (i.e., PERL, Python, etc) and any other programming languages (C, C++) is a plus. - Understand advanced architecture principles and design practices.- Ability to plan large projects and solve end to end system wide problems. Ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously.- Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Superior debugging and bug fixing skills.- Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
