Pay Rate: Very Competitive
Duration: 12 Month contract
Candidates must have excellent customer service, strong trouble-shooting, attention to detail/organization, and good verbal/written communication skills. Working knowledge of Windows 7, project management experience
and a professional demeanor for this hardware replacement/Windows 7 Project.
We are seeking candidates that are interested in flexible working hours but also open to some travel to Long Beach.
•Demonstrated ability to provide work direction and training to others as required.
•Thorough knowledge of micro computer technology, concepts, and standards involving hardware requirements and software applications.
•Thorough knowledge of operating systems such as DOS, OS/2, Macintosh, and Windows.
•Thorough knowledge of personal computer software such as Excel, Word, Lotus, and WordPerfect.
•General knowledge of network principles, concepts, and technologies applicable to hardware, software, and administration utilities.
•General knowledge of state-of-the-art concepts, procedures, and techniques for using mainframe, client server, LAN, personal computer, and database systems.
•Configure and install software and hardware for use on personal computer workstations.
•Meet with clients to discuss planning considerations for meeting overall desktop needs as well as specific applications required for daily operations.
•Research alternatives and suggests specific hardware equipment and software that will best meet their client's needs and adhere to CG standards. Establish, maintain and administer network file server configurations and appropriate security measures.
•Document workstation and network procedures for personal computer and network setups.
•Resolve communication issues between workstations, file servers, mainframes, and other network equipment.
•Perform proactive testing, inspection, and maintenance of installed systems.
•Participate in technical projects involving clients, vendors and/or multiple departments.
