DescriptionMake A DifferenceMaximo Specialist, Washington DC, Aiken South Carolina, or Houston Texas Parsons offers the U.S. Government qualified and clearable personnel to solve engineering, construction, facility, intelligence, environmental, and information technology needs. Our staff has supported mission critical, homeland security, installation/base optimization, range sustainability, space exploration, unexploded ordnance clean-up, missile defense, and disaster relief programs. Description: The IT Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day Maximo system administration and implementation activities. They will have previous system administration and/or help desk experience, in support of Maximo systems. The Specialist must be able to work autonomously on various assignments. Regular activities include consult, plan, manage, and deliver IT services in support of the Parsons project as they pertain to Maximo and related systems. The candidate must possess excellent Maximo and client-facing skills. The Specialist will interface with system users and Maximo Technical Lead on matters relating to system use and operations and delivery of support services necessary for successful program execution. Daily Duties include the following:Participate as needed in team meetings and planning sessions.Compile data as it becomes available from engineering, schema configuration, and data reporting requests.Determine Maximo Calibration Data Requirements.Develop workflows (WO, PMs, purchasing, scheduling etc) and detailed reportsDevelop Training Modules and maintain documentation in support of system training and operations.Provide phone and in-person support to technology user community.Application support for various facilities management systems.Perform server backup, restoral, and system maintenance procedures as needed. QualificationsQualifications: BA or BS degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT field 5+ years of experience with EAM solutions Strong customer relationship experienceAbility to solicit functional requirements from a client and translate them into software requirementsGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong Functional knowledge of Maximo systemsTechnical background and expertise in Information TechnologyExcellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skillsKnowledge and experience with a variety of computer, communications, and applications technologies and tools used in the facilities management industryDatabase systems experience with MS SQL and or Oracle Background working within a Military and/or Government Contracting environment?????? ?????????
