Responsibilities include:

*Provides IT infrastructure consulting services to help small- to medium-sized businesses and non-profit groups in a variety of industries, including banking/finance, legal and healthcare.

*Our end-to-end consulting services help our customers in IT strategy and planning, system implementation/integration, and network systems management.

*The System Administrator reports to the Network Division Manager.

*The System Administrator assists in providing increased quality and timely service to clients.

*The System Administrator possesses desktop support, networking and technical skills, proficiency with the design, and implementation and support of Microsoft solutions.

*The System Administrator works on projects as well as manages front-end and back-end systems.

*The System Administrator implements and recommends Windows solutions including Active Directory, Cloud Services, server virtualization, imaging, anti-virus protection, email, authentication administration, network storage, rollbacks, security and Disaster Recovery.

*The System Administrator must obtain and maintain required certifications for partnership with key vendors, primarily Microsoft.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent combination of 8 years directly applicable experience.

*Prior experience supporting a variety of hardware platforms running Windows (2003, 2008, XP, 7) operating systems supporting SQL, Exchange, Active Directory, Office Apps desirable.

*Experience with a broad range of network infrastructure technologies, including but not limited to: Routers, Firewalls, Switches, Backup Solutions, SAN, NAS, VPN and mobile devices.

*VMware Sphere Virtualization and/or HyperV experience a plus.

*Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of clients, vendors and/or other IT staff.

*Experience with IT support processes, remote monitoring/ticketing software, tracking systems and IT service performance management processes.

*Excellent problem solving and time management skills.

*Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

*Ability to establish a high level of trust with clients and coworkers.

*Ability to conceptualize, document and present creative service-oriented solutions.

*Experience working in a consulting environment and experience in regulated industry such as banking/finance/education/healthcare is a plus.

*Ability to lift, carry, and move all components of PC workstations, servers, network equipment, peripherals, and other ancillary equipment.

*Must be available to travel (up to 20%) to corporate and/or client sites, as needed.
