My Resumes


This feature allows you to maintain your resumes on AJE. From the screen, you can create a new resume, modify an existing resume, and control the status of your resumes.

Accessing My Resumes

Click on the My Resumes button on the My Account menu. The My Resumes screen appears.

Create a New Resume

Click on the CREATE A NEW RESUME button to access Resume Builder. See "Resume Builder" for more information.
Note: You can maintain up to five resumes on AJE, but only one resume can be active (available to potential employers).

Editing or Completing a Resume

You can edit an existing resume or complete an incomplete resume from the page.

    1. Click on the title of the resume you want to edit or complete. The Resume Builder appears with that resume’s information prefilled.
    2. Add or change the information as necessary.
    3. Click the SAVE CHANGES button. A confirmation screen appears.
    4. Click on the RETURN TO LIST button to return to the screen.

Activating a Resume

Note: You can have only one resume active (available to potential employers) at a time. If you already have an active resume, you must deactivate it before you activate another resume.

    1. Choose the resume you want to activate by selecting the radio button to the left of the resume title.
    2. Click the ACTIVATE button. The icon denoting the active resume appears to the right of the resume title.

Deactivating a Resume

    1. Choose the active resume you want to deactivate by selecting the radio button to the left of the resume title.
      Note: An icon denoting the active resume appears to the right of the resume title.
    2. Click the DEACTIVATE button. The icon denoting an active resume to the right of the resume title disappears.

Duplicating a Resume

This function allows you to build a new resume based on an existing resume.
Note: If you already have five saved resumes, this function will not be available to you.

    1. Choose the resume you want to duplicate by selecting the radio button to the left of the resume title.
    2. Click the DUPLICATE button. The first Create New Resume screen appears with all the fields pre-filled with the information you entered in the resume you chose in Step 1.

Deleting a Resume

    1. Choose the resume you want to delete by selecting the radio button to the left of the resume title.
    2. Click the DELETE button. A confirmation screen appears.
    3. Click the DELETE button to delete the resume. The screen reappears with the resume deleted.
      Or
      Click the CANCEL button to return to the screen without deleting the resume.
