Entering Education Level


Use this section to describe your education background. Include information about high school, college or other formal education and any certificates or licenses you may have. You may enter up to four degrees if necessary.

    1. Indicate your Education Level by selecting the appropriate radio button.
    2. Click on the Type of Degree field, and enter the type of degree you received.
    3. Click on the Course of Study field, and enter the course of study you pursued.
    4. Click on the Issuing Institution field, and enter the name of the institution that issued your degree.
    5. Select the State where the institution is located from the drop-down list.
    6. Select the Country where the institution is located from the drop-down list.
    7. Click on the Completion Date field, and type a one- or two-digit month, a slant bar, and a four-digit year (for example 5/1984) indicating the date you completed your degree.
    8. Click on the ADD DEGREE button. The information is added to your Education History at the bottom of this screen, and the fields are cleared to allow you to enter another degree if necessary. You may add up to four degrees to your resume.
      Note: An Edit and a Delete hyperlink are provided with each degree in your education history. You can change or delete a degree by following the appropriate hyperlink.
    9. Click on the Certificate/License text box, and enter any licenses and/or certificates you hold. Click the Sample Certificate/License hyperlink to open a window with an example of the type of information you would enter in this field.
    10. When you have finished, click on the PROCEED TO NEXT STEP button. The fourth Create New Resume screen, Step 4. Skills and Abilities appears.

      Click the BACK button to return to the previous Create New Resume screen.
      Or
      Click the PREVIEW button to see what your resume looks like at this point.
      Or
      Click the SAVE TO FINISH LATER button. Your incomplete resume is saved with the Resume Title you assigned. You can access this resume or delete it from the screen.
