As a Field Surgeon, you will increase your knowledge and learn the latest techniques in our collaborative environment. You will practice in your community and serve when needed. You will enhance your skills by working alongside health care professionals who share your passion for excellence. Either way, it s an outstanding way to serve your country and help others.Medical Professional Officers are required to complete an initial military orientation and training course lasting 26 days in San Antonio, TX, at Fort Sam Houston.
