To assure that the lacquering department is producing product that meets customers specifications.
-Work with lacquering department to help resolve quality related issues
-Make dimensional and visual checks at lacquer line
-Use specialized measuring equipment to quantify surface qualities and report them
-Initiate process to place product on hold that does not meet specifications
-Use judgment and experience to make calls on questionable product
-Keep color standard samples up to date
-Complete check sheets to show findings of checks
-Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent At least three months of quality related experience
-Must understand the basic concepts of all production areas here at Unilin
-Knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, etc)
-Be able to run power equipment such as table saw, sander, etc.
-Use measurement equipment (micrometers, tape measure, etc.)
-Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
-Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces
