The Exec-U-Care (EUC) Account Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of a client's account from inception and managing the plan administration through termination. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, new business setup, posting of financials, billing, customer service, and claims adjudication. Duties are segregated due to compliance controls. To fulfill this role, the account coordinator will:
- Perform claim adjudication for medical, dental, prescription, and vision claims in accordance with plan provisions, regulatory requirements, procedural requirements, and quality requirements.
- Review and adjudicate complex claims requiring research, additional information, rework, and medical necessity review.
- Process all enrollment forms, eligibility changes, and client changes.
- Produce monthly billing statements and reports.
- Post all payments received.
- Provide customer service to plan participants via requests received by email, fax, or written correspondence. Research inquiries and respond to clients within required turnaround times.
- Provide customer service to plan participants via incoming telephone calls. Research inquiries and respond to callers within required turnaround times.

- Minimum high school diploma or GED. 2 or 4 year college degree preferred.
- Customer service skills and logical thinking skills as well as the ability to prioritize and make independent judgments. Working knowledge of employee benefit plans would be desirable but not required.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated experience with internet, Outlook, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Must be able to multi-task using multiple applications.
- Superior customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult calls and defuse problems.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a demanding work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required with the ability to work independently and on a team.
